IGP Côtes de Thongue
Golden and shiny color. The intense aroma is reminiscent of a mixture of citrus fruits (candied lemon, grapefruit) and fried dried fruits. The taste is rounded, with mineral notes of exotic fruits (pineapple, passionfruit), honey and vanilla. Wines “N ° 7” get their name from the number of grape varieties used in the blend, which is prepared just a month before bottling.
Decant some hours before serving. Around 12°.
In barrels for 8-9 months, on lees with “bâtonnage”.
Viognier, Chardonnay, Grenache Blanc, Sauvignon, Grenache Gris, Muscat petit grain and Carignan Blanc.
Direct pressing of each grape variety. Fermentation in French oak barrels (300 liters): new or 1 wine old, medium toast.
